Back in April, Amanda decided to take part in a True Beauty Boudoir session with me. She is a fellow coastie wife and he husband was away at A school, he was due to graduate soon and also their first wedding anniversary was coming up as well. She thought this was going to be a great present for him.
I tried this new thing called a Champagne Party. On a Saturday I held a True Beauty Shoot for four lucky women. As each women arrived they were welcomed with a glass of Champagne (or Sparkling Cider if they were under 21). They then were given a tour of the property and then were introduced to me makeup artist and hair stylist, Erin Nicole. A Closet was set up for the women to hang their outfits and layout everything. They began with hair and makeup while be offered more champagne, fruits, and finger sandwiches. One at a time each women would get their outfits on walk to a location and shoot. To my surprise everyone showed up around the same time and hung out and chatted, laughed, and watched each toher. They all were so sweet to each other and always complimenting each other while one was modeling. It was so nice to see each one of them being comfortable and just having fun. It was the true reason I created the Champagne Party. It was a great day and I would love to have another one towards the end of January in time for Valentine’s Day. Here are some images from the entire day including behind the scenes, detail shots and of course my lovely women.
So I was slowly looking through the internet the other day and found this amazing photo by the wonderful talented Elizabeth Messina. This photo is absolutely beautiful and elegant. I have begun offering bridal boudoirs to my wedding packages, I think these are fabulous gifts the bride to be to give to her husband to be on the day of the wedding. Just will make him even more excited to see you walk down that aisle. I would love to do a series of photographs like this of women and just their veils. Who would be interested in it?
This is my inspiration
Jose Villa, another wedding photographer that I am absolutely obsessed with and try to get my creativeness from him. this man is truly amazing and his photos speak for it.
I recently was able to partake in another boudoir shoot with a client of mine that has been close to my side for quite sometime. This shoot was a gift to her from me. She has helped me along the way so much and I want her to know how much I appreciate it. Mallory is a truly amazing woman and anyone can learn a lot from her, but sadly she doesn’t see how truly beautiful she really is, she knows it on the outside but she is just as equally beautiful on the outside. This is the reason I decided to do a boudoir shoot with her. These are the first time she is seeing the photographs and I hope she feels beautiful because Mallory, as your photographer, and your friend I think you deserve to know how truly wonderful you are.
I hope you enjoy the photos.

In the past year I had been interning for a photographer in Los Angeles, she and a friend recently started a new photography business, Esme & Eve which focuses on boudoir and editorial photography. After watching them work and seeing their photographs I have slowly fallen in love with boudoir photography.
Valentine’s Day is vastly approaching and I sent out a special for boudoir sessions. I have a sneak peek of Kat Perkin’s boudoir session with me. She was great to be around. This session was one of the most comfortable ones I have ever done. I am absolutely in love with how the photos turned out and can’t wait to book my next boudoir session.
If you interested in what you see and are possibly thinking of doing one yourself, feel free to email me, I’d love to do it with you! BCHPhotography@gmail.com
